Details of the Arkansas sculpture at the Warner Brown Hospital in El Dorado. The completed sculpture is installed in 13 sections, and weighs 20 tons.

The mural depicts the history of Southern Arkansas from the first tribes of Indians, to present day. The sculpture was fabricated and cast in Southern California and shipped by truck to the hospital site. Entire Building

The full size models for this sculpture mural were enlarged from a one quarter scale macquette using a foam armature covered in ceramic modeling clay.

Plaster wastemolds were made over the models and when completed, the foam and clay were removed and replaces by the final material, cast stone. The plaster molds were chipped away leaving the finished sculpture.
